Now You See Me: Now You Don't (2025)

Ruben Fleisher’s 2025 sequel, *Now You See Me: Now You Don’t*, has become Prime Video’s most‑watched title, outpacing every other film on the platform. While it didn’t match the $351 million haul of the original, the movie still pulled in a respectable $246 million at the box office, proving the magic‑themed heist franchise still has pull. The film reunites the core quartet—Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher and Dave Franco—while adding fresh faces Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa and a villainous turn for Rosamund Pike as South African diamond magnate Veronika Vanderberg. A new twist sees a trio of younger magicians using deep‑fake tech to impersonate the originals, pulling the seasoned “Horsemen” back into a high‑stakes diamond caper orchestrated by the secretive organization known as the Eye. Critics remain split: Rotten Tomatoes records a 61 % approval rating, with The Telegraph’s Robbie Collin slamming the heroes as “the smuggest twerps on the planet,” while The Wrap’s William Bibbiani praised the film’s “goofy and shallow” fun, noting it’s a spectacle that lives for its tricks rather than its storytelling. Whether you’re a fan of dazzling illusion or just looking for escapist entertainment, the latest installment delivers enough sparkle to keep audiences streaming.
