Club Kid (2026)

A24 has dropped the first trailer for Club Kid , the acclaimed New York City comedy marking the feature directorial debut of Jordan Firstman , and this looks like it could be something special. Firstman writes, directs, and stars in the film as Peter, a washed-up underground NYC party promoter whose life revolves around clubs, late nights, and keeping the party going. Then a 10-year-old kid named Arlo suddenly enters the picture with one rather significant complication: Peter is his father. That gives Club Kid a fun collision of worlds and character dynamics to play with. Peter has built his entire existence around a lifestyle that doesn't exactly scream responsible parent, and now he's suddenly expected to take care of a kid he didn't even know existed. It looks like the relationship between the two characters gives the movie its heart. Reggie Absolom plays Arlo, with the cast also featuring Diego Calva , Cara Delevingne , Kirby Howell-Baptiste , and Colleen Camp . Club Kid made its world premiere at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival, and emerged as one of the festival's notable discoveries. The movie is also headed to the New York Film Festival before its theatrical release. The project marks Firstman's first feature as a director after previously making short films. The movie looks like a funny, messy, warm film that’s packed with personality. A24 will release Club Kid in select U.S. theaters on November 6, 2026.
