The killer animal movie subgenre has been around for decades, with movies like Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 horror film bringing animals to the screen and attacking unsuspecting victims. Now, a new film called Crawlers takes the subgenre to a new level, featuring killer spiders and an apartment high-rise forced into lockdown by millions of mutating arachnids. Fans who suffer from a fear of spiders are already tapping out just from the trailer, and the movie has been compared to another film with a similar idea for spider infestation in an apartment building.
