Tuner (2026)

Leo Woodall stars as a talented piano tuner who suffers from hyperacusis—a heightened hearing condition that makes everyday sounds feel like a roar. When his rare auditory gift catches the eye of a shadowy criminal world, he’s thrust into a dangerous game of cracking safes, turning his delicate art into a weapon of choice. Sharing the screen with veteran Dustin Hoffman, Woodall’s performance is a showcase of raw intensity, proving why many critics already hail him as one of the most compelling young actors of his generation. The film leans into the absurdity of a hyper‑sensitive musician becoming a master burglar, delivering a twist‑laden crime thriller that feels both fresh and oddly intimate. Despite its clever premise and standout cast,"Tuner" has slipped under the radar this year. Its blend of sensory drama and heist thrills makes it a perfect pick for viewers looking for a smart, off‑beat thriller that rewards a second look.
