I liked Dhurandhar. It's not phenomenal or so, but definitely not a lot to complain about. It is a testosterone trip to an extent, but I'm not complaining. Those who are complaining are not really the target audience, it seems. Towards the end, there are some risky bets and plot armour, but it's a film, not a documentary. It could have benefited from a somewhat better runtime. 3.5 hrs is long. It dials up the violence meter for mainstream Bollywood, but nothing too shocking and not too much of it either. Ranveer is actually more vulnerable, more grounded, except when he's not. Then he's just Tommy Vercetty. Given that Aditya is just 42, I do see early GTA could be part of his college years.I liked Dhurandhar. It's not phenomenal or so, but definitely not a lot to complain about. Mukesh Chhabra Takes a Dig at Ramayana & Dhurandhar Trolls

Casting Backlash or Creative Debate? Mukesh Chhabra Calls Out Troll Culture in Bollywood The Indian film industry is no stranger to public debate. But casting director Mukesh Chhabra says the conversation has gone too far and he wants it to stop. Chhabra recently spoke about the wave of online criticism surrounding two of Bollywood's most-watched upcoming projects, Ramayana Movie 2026 and Dhurandhar. Ranbir, Ranveer, and a Social Media Storm Both Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have found themselves at the center of the Ramayana casting controversy. Online platforms have seen a sharp rise in negative comments targeting the two actors, weeks before any official footage has been made public. Chhabra pushed back firmly. He stated that casting is never a casual decision. Every actor is evaluated on merit, preparation, and fit for the role."This is not random. There is a process behind every name," he said. Fans or Critics: Where Is the Line? Chhabra pointed out that actors dedicate months and sometimes years to prepare for major roles. Public ridicule before a film's release, he noted, adds unnecessary pressure and damages morale across entire production teams. The Bollywood trolling debate is not new. But the scale and speed at which criticism spreads today is unprecedented. Numbers Are Rising, So Is the Noise Early trade estimates around the Dhurandhar box office collection have kept the film in headlines. Similarly, Ramayana Movie 2026 continues to attract massive anticipation alongside equally massive scrutiny. In the Mukesh Chhabra interview , he made one point repeatedly: give films a chance before forming opinions.
